Marjoram (Origanum majorana L.), native to the Mediterranean, is a 40-60 cm plant that is currently grown in many parts of the world. The first harvest of marjoram begins between June and July, but thanks to its very fast regrowth, the plant can be re-harvested even up to three times in one season.
In the kitchen, leaves are used fresh or dried in the form of whole crumbled or ground leaves.

Marjoram is a highly valued and commonly used spice herb in Europe. Due to its characteristic strong taste and aroma, when added to dishes, it significantly enriches their taste.
